The air curtain is used where large quantities of chips, dirt, water or oil need to be removed with minimal compressed air consumption or where the products need to be cooled by a jet of air.
Description
Over the entire length of the air curtain, the air can escape through a 0.05 mm thin slit at almost the speed of sound. This entrains ambient air, creating an air curtain consisting of approx. 25 times the volume of air used. The air curtain has a noise level up to 50 dBA lower than that of drilled pipes with the same conveying volume.
