Product Description
  • the cut-off wheel is an abrasive designed for demanding cutting tasks and enables hot and cold cutting of profiles, pipes and solid material made of all types of steel and cast iron, non-ferrous metal alloys and special alloys
  • it is particularly suitable for cutting tasks that require high lateral stability and is used with powerful stationary cut-off machines
  • cutting of cooled rolled and forged pieces in the hot cutting line is possible, also suitable for materials that are difficult or impossible to saw or flame cut
Description
  • straight cut-off wheel from the PFERD SG-ELASTIC performance line with two outer cloths
  • it is available in a soft or medium-hard version and has a very long service life and very high lateral stability
  • thanks to the smooth cutting surface and the blank cutting pattern during cold cutting, reworking is not necessary
  • the cutting disc has a self-sharpening effect, which means that the cutting quality remains consistently high over the entire service life of the disc
  • the cutting disc can be operated at an increased working speed of 100 m/s
  • at 85 to 95 dBA, the noise level during hot cutting is lower than during hot sawing (105 to 110 dBA)
  • for safety reasons, the maximum permissible speed must not be exceeded
