  • It is particularly suitable for cutting tasks that require a high degree of lateral stability and is used with powerful stationary cut-off machines
  • It is possible to cut cooled rolled and forgings in the hot cutting line, also suitable for materials that are not or difficult to saw or flame cut
Application
  • straight cutting disc of the PFERD performance line SG-ELASTIC with two outer fabrics
  • it is available in a soft or medium-hard version and has a very long service life and very high lateral stability
  • Thanks to the smooth parting surface and the bare cross-section during cold cutting, post-processing is not necessary
  • the cutting disc has a self-sharpening effect, which means that the cut quality is consistently high over the total consumption of the disc
  • the cutting disc can be operated at an increased working speed of 100 m / s
  • the noise level when hot cutting is 85 to 95 dBA lower than with hot sawing (105 to 110 dBA)
  • for safety reasons, the max. permissible speed must not be exceeded
