Product Description
  • The cutting disc is an abrasive designed for demanding cutting tasks and allows the hot and cold cutting of profiles, pipes and solid material from all types of steel and cast iron, non-ferrous metal alloys and special alloys
  • It is particularly suitable for separation tasks which require high lateral stability and is used with high-performance stationary cut-off machines
  • The separation of cooled rolling and forging pieces in the hot separation line is possible, also suitable for materials which can not be sawn or severely sawn or burnt
Application
  • Straight cutting wheel of the PFERD performance line SG-ELASTIC with two outer fabrics
  • It is available in a soft or medium-hard version and has a very long service life and a very high lateral stability
  • Thanks to the smooth separation surface and the bare cutting pattern during cold cutting, post-processing is not necessary
  • The cutting disc has a self-sharpening effect, whereby the cutting quality over the total consumption of the disc is uniformly high
  • The noise level during hot cutting is lower at 85 to 95 dBA than in hot sawing (105 to 110 dBA)
  • For safety reasons the max. Permissible speed can not be exceeded
