- The twist drill is ideal for drilling work on normal machinable materials such as steel or brass. Use with emulsion or oil is recommended.
- The twist drill to DIN 340 type N is made from high-speed steel HSS and profile-ground. The surface is steam-treated. The drill bit is right-hand cutting and has a conical flank grinding, a 118° point angle and a helix angle of 25 to 30°. The side chip angle, core thickness and core rise are normal.
