- The fire service snap hook is used as an accessory for wire ropes and steel chains; it is also used in industry, the trades, in transport for securing loads, and in the private sector.
- Please note that the snap hook must not be used for lifting loads. The snap hooks we supply are standard snap hooks similar to DIN 5299.
- This standard does not apply to carabiners intended for use on lanyards for safety harnesses; the load-bearing capacity is engraved on the carabiners, and the hooks are C-shaped.
