- GEKA® plus threaded couplings K are ideal for drinking water installations in gardens or outdoor areas, as well as in the food industry. They are also suitable for chlorinated water, e.g. in swimming pools.
- The product complies with drinking water certification with DVGW type examination certificate (registration number: DW-0310BT0218) for use with hygienically safe drinking water.
- Coupling material – lead-free brass CW508L-DW according to BWGL metal materials in contact with drinking water
- Seal material – standard with GEKA® plus sealing ring 300K for drinking water KTWBWGL, DIN EN 16421
- Hose inner diameter – 10 to 38 mm
- Hose size - 3/8" to 1 1/2"
- Claw spacing – uniform 40 mm – combinations possible
- Operating pressure – max. 40 bar – this is more than double the operating pressure compared to conventional claw couplings according to the GEKA system.
- Vacuum resistance – up to 10 m water column (WS)
- Operating temperature range: -10°C to +85°C
Brass is not suitable for all cleaning agents. In special cases, GEKA® plus couplings made of stainless steel must be used.
