The mounted point is suitable for fine grinding of edges, transitions, curves, bores, press countersinks and turbine blades on workpieces made of steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. It is used in conjunction with flexible shafts, electric and pneumatic straight grinders.
Description
The ball-shaped mounted point has a soft bond (GR) on an elastomer basis with the abrasive aluminium oxide. The soft and elastic grain bond achieves soft and fine sanding behaviour. The grinding pattern is particularly shiny and fine, and the best results are achieved with the mounted point at a cutting speed of 10 to 12 m/s.
For safety reasons, the maximum permissible speed must not be exceeded.
