Product Description
- The mounted point is suitable for fine grinding of hardened press dies, forging dies, bores and weld seams as well as for pre-grinding as a preliminary stage for polishing in the field of turbine and engine construction on steel, stainless steel, titanium, light and non-ferrous metals. It is used in conjunction with bending shafts, electric and pneumatic straight grinders.
- The tapered mounted point has a very hard and stable bond made of aluminium oxide and a textile fabric insert. The grain bond is very stable, which increases the aggressiveness of the sanding behaviour; the sanding pattern produced is matt and fine. The best results are achieved with the mounted point at a cutting speed of 20 to 30 m/s.
- For safety reasons, the maximum permissible speed must not be exceeded.
