Product Description
- The STKi2 EX manual hose reel is suitable for use in all potentially explosive atmospheres above ground, with the exception of mining. It is suitable for use, for example, in the chemical industry, landfills, civil engineering, energy producers, waste disposal companies, gas supply companies, the woodworking industry, paint stores, agriculture, metalworking companies, the food and animal feed industry, the pharmaceutical industry and refineries.
- The manual hose reel STKi2 EX is made of stainless steel 1.4301 or 1.4571, depending on the version. It complies with Directive 94/9/EC, also known as "ATEX95" and "ATEX100". The drum has an adjustable hand crank with a free-running polyamide handle for manual operation. The maintenance-free, chemical-resistant plastic plain bearing of the hose reel is insensitive to moisture and dirt. The mechanical brake integrated in the bearing allows the reel to be braked in a finely adjustable manner, right up to blocking. The angled swivel joints are fitted with stainless steel axles as standard. Their housing is also made of stainless steel. Easy hose connection without bending the hose is made possible by a tube adapter welded to the axle.
