Product Description
- The KCJ shut-off coupling is used wherever hoses need to be changed frequently without having to vent the system.
- Typical applications include test facilities, maintenance areas, assembly lines and modular pneumatic systems.
- In automation technology in particular, it contributes to process reliability by preventing the unintentional escape of compressed air when disconnecting.
- It can be easily integrated into existing systems and is compatible with standard plug connections.
- The KCJ shut-off connector is a special plug connector with an integrated shut-off mechanism that interrupts the air flow as soon as the connected hose is removed.
- This function enables safe and clean disconnection without loss of compressed air.
- The connection serves as an adapter between a standard plug connection (e.g. KQ2 series) and a hose, eliminating the need to manually cut the hose when repeatedly plugging and unplugging.
- The KCJ series is suitable for hoses made of nylon, soft nylon and polyurethane.
- All metal components are chemically nickel-plated and therefore corrosion-resistant and copper-free.
