Product Description
- The SMC S-coupler KK130S is suitable for pneumatic systems in which compressed air lines are connected via a detachable plug-and-socket connection.
- This series is particularly suitable for blow-off applications where a low pressure drop can be utilised to reduce the required inlet pressure.
- The SMC S-coupler KK130S in a female version with an internal thread is made from galvanised and chromate-coated structural steel.
- It is heat-treated to minimise bending, deformation and wear.
- The special configuration of the valve reduces pressure loss.
- The locking mechanism (semi-standard) prevents the coupling from coming loose due to unexpected impact forces. The anti-rotation mechanism on the socket secures the locked and unlocked positions.
- Compared with the conventional model in the KK13 series, the KK130 series is more energy-efficient and cost-effective; the force required to connect the fittings is reduced by 22 per cent and the weight is reduced by 14 per cent.
