Product Description
- The SMC S-coupler KK130S is suitable for pneumatic systems in which compressed air lines are connected via a detachable plug-and-socket connection.
- This series is particularly suitable for air-blowing applications where a low pressure drop can be utilised to reduce the required inlet pressure.
- The SMC S-coupler KK130S in a female version with a plug-in connection is made from galvanised and chromate-coated structural steel.
- It is heat-treated to minimise bending, deformation and wear.
- The valve’s special design reduces pressure loss.
- The locking mechanism (semi-standard) prevents the coupling from becoming disengaged due to unexpected impact forces. The anti-rotation feature on the socket secures the locked and unlocked positions.
- Compared with the conventional model in the KK13 series, the KK130 series is more energy-efficient and cost-effective; the force required to connect the couplings is reduced by 22 per cent and the weight is reduced by 14 per cent.
