- The SMC KKAS-M quick-connect coupling is used in pneumatic systems where unrestricted flow in both directions is required, for example in compressed air distribution systems, vacuum applications or open piping systems.
- It is particularly suitable for applications where, after the connection has been disconnected, the pressure is to be released or the medium is to circulate freely.
- The coupling is also suitable for use in water applications up to +40 °C, provided that a non-return valve is not required.
- Thanks to its straight design with external thread, it can be easily integrated into existing systems and provides a space-saving, secure connection.
- The SMC KKAS-M quick-connect coupling is a straight, lockable coupling socket with an external thread for free-flow applications.
- The coupling does not have an integrated check valve, allowing the medium to flow in both directions without flow resistance.
- The chemically nickel-plated brass body and the NBR seal ensure a durable, corrosion-resistant and leak-free connection.
- The coupling is designed for frequent connection and disconnection and can be operated without tools.
