- It is ideal for applications involving increased mechanical stress due to movement or tension on the hose.
- The quick-release coupling is also suitable for water applications up to +40 °C (not frozen).
- It is particularly advantageous for frequent connection changes whilst ensuring a secure lock.
- The SMC KKS-N quick-connect coupling is a straight coupling socket with an integrated locking mechanism and mechanical hose retention via a cap nut.
- It ensures a secure, vibration-resistant connection with high holding force.
- Installation is carried out by sliding the hose onto the nozzle and securing it with a stainless steel cap nut, without the need for any additional tools.
- The chemically nickel-plated brass housing, in combination with the NBR seal, ensures a reliable seal against compressed air and water.
- The KKS-N is particularly robust and designed for continuous use in dynamic applications.
