- The SMC AV series soft-start valves consist of an aluminium housing with a corrosion-resistant surface and an integrated damping unit.
- An electrically controlled 3/2-way solenoid valve regulates the pressure supply and releases it with a delay.
- A check valve ensures unimpeded pressure relief when the system is shut down.
- The AV-YZ soft-start valve in a straight version is fitted with a DIN terminal with plug and, optionally, with a built-in silencer.
- It also features an operational indicator and a safety circuit, which further enhances operational safety in maintenance- and safety-intensive systems and applications.
