Product Description
- The tail docking device with docking device is used in pig breeding & keeping.
- This device is used to dock tails in piglets and lambs.
- The heated blade pinches off the tail, while the wound is welded at the same time.
- The special pince-pinch serves as a tail catcher.
- During the Kupiervorgang the tails of the newborn piglets are burned down and at the same time the vessels closed. The immediate occlusion of the vessels prevents the entry of pathogens. Usually you leave the tails about 2-3 cm long. Background of the Kupierens is an avoidance of cannibalism among the pigs, which can be caused by long tails in the rearing phase and fattening.
