Product Description
- In centralised extraction systems, the automatic damper ensures greater efficiency and long-term energy savings during operation.
- The motor-driven damper with welding cable sensor is fitted with a control box and can be operated via a switch or a contactor control system. A fan starter from the FC1 / FC3 series is required to start the fan directly.
- The control box is fitted with a 30 VA transformer for the lighting unit on the extraction arm, an adjustable fan delay time of 0 to 5 minutes, and two separate connections for sensor terminals. The power supply is single-phase at 110/120 – 220/240 V at 50/60 Hz.
- The throttle valve is available in two versions: manual (MDM) with a switch unit on the hood, or automatic (MDA) with a sensor clamp on the welding machine. With the automatic version, the fan start-up and the position of the throttle valve can be controlled depending on the welding process.
- The damper is used to control the air flow in multi-arm extraction systems and allows individual extraction points to be switched on and off as required. This enables the extraction system to be operated in accordance with the air flow rate required at any given time.
