Product Description
- In centralised extraction systems, the automatic damper is used to regulate the air flow according to demand and ensures that the extraction system operates in line with the specific requirements
- The motor-driven damper, which does not feature a welding cable sensor, is fitted with a control box and can be operated via a switch or a contactor control system. A fan starter from the FC1 / FC3 series is required to start the fan directly.
- The control box is fitted with a 30 VA transformer for the lighting unit on the extraction arm, an adjustable fan run-on time of 0 to 5 minutes, and two separate connections for sensor terminals. Power is supplied as single-phase 110/120 – 220/240 V at 50/60 Hz.
- Depending on the model, the throttle valve is available either as a manual version (MDM) with a switch unit on the hood or as an automatic version (MDA). It is used to control the air flow in multi-arm extraction systems and enables individual extraction points to be switched on and off as required.
- One or two sensor terminals can be connected to the control box.
