Product Description
  • The timing chain tensioning lever is ideally suited for pre-tensioning the timing chain and unlocking the chain tensioner.
Application
  • The clamping lever must be attached to the cylinder head web in order to push back the clamping rail.
  • The timing chain tensioner is suitable for almost all 1.8L and 2.0L TFSI / TSI engines with, for example, the following engine codes: 1.8L: CDAA, CDHA, CDHB, CJEB, CDAB, CGYA; 2.0L: CCZA, CDNB, CDNC, CFKA, CCZC, CPSA, CESA, CETA, CCZB, CDND, CCZD.
  • The timing chain tensioning lever is installed in the following VAG models: Audi A3, A4, A5, A6, Q3, Q5, TT; Seat Alhambra, Altea, Exeo, Leon, Toledo; Skoda Octavia II, Superb II, Yeti; Volkswagen Eos, GolfVI, Passat CC, Sharan, Beetle, Scirocco, Tiguan.
  • The clamping lever is to be used like OEM T40243.
