Product Description
- The KQ2U Y-plug connector is used to branch compressed air lines in pneumatic systems when several outlets need to be derived from a central supply line.
- Typical areas of application are industrial automation, assembly lines, manufacturing cells and general mechanical engineering.
- The flexible design allows several consumers to be connected in parallel within compact system structures.
- Particularly advantageous for use in extensions or modifications where quick and clean plug connections are required.
- The KQ2U Y-plug fitting consists of a robust POM pressure ring and precision-machined metal components made of brass or chemically nickel-plated brass.
- It has a male thread with a sealing ring and enables a stable and reliable connection with two hoses of the same dimension in a Y-arrangement.
- The oval pressure ring significantly reduces the force required to insert and release the hoses, enabling quick and tool-free installation.
- The compact design of the plug-in screw connection allows it to be used even where space is limited.
- Careful workmanship ensures permanently tight connections, even when the hoses are frequently reconnected.
