Product Description
- the cutting disc is an abrasive designed for demanding cutting tasks and enables hot and cold cutting of profiles, pipes and solid stainless steel material
- the cutting of cooled rolled and forged pieces in the hot cutting line is possible
- for use with cut-off machines up to 3 KW
- very soft and straight cut-off wheel from the PFERD SG-ELASTIC performance line with medium mesh, very long service life, less side friction and aggressive, low-burr cutting behaviour
- the corundum abrasive is manufactured without fillers containing chlorine, sulphur and iron
- thanks to the smooth cutting surface and the blank cutting pattern during cold cutting, reworking is not necessary
- the cutting disc has a self-sharpening effect, which means that the cutting quality remains consistently high over the entire service life of the disc
- at 85 to 95 dBA, the noise level during hot cutting is lower than during hot sawing (105 to 110 dBA)
- for safety reasons, the maximum permissible speed must not be exceeded
