Product Description
- Ideal for applications in automation, mechanical engineering and process plants where reliable switching and options for explosion-proof environments or flow control are required – e.g. in chemical plants, paint lines, packaging machines or powder coating.
- These Festo valves from the VL‑5/2‑D‑2 series are robust pneumatic 5/2-way valves with monostable spring position.
- The -C-EX variant is certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX II 2GD h IIC/T4), while the -FR‑C models feature additional throttle/flow control.
- All variants are manufactured in accordance with ISO 5599‑1 and comply with the latest industrial standards.
- Function - 5/2-way valve, monostable, pneumatically operated with mechanical spring return
- Valve type - Piston valve; throttleable exhaust air function
- Width - 54 mm, grid dimension ISO 5599‑1 size 2, G3/8 connections
