- The twist drill to DIN 338, type UNI, is made from high-speed steel HSS, profile-ground and bright coated. It has a 118° point angle, a stepped drill point and a 3-face shank. It offers excellent torque transmission. The stepped drill bit tip prevents the drill bit from running when tapping.
