- it is used in conjunction with flexible shafts, electric and pneumatic straight grinders
- the mounted point has a soft yet stable bond (GHR) on an elastomer base
- a mixture of aluminium oxide and silicon carbide was used as the abrasive; for grain size 400, this consists of silicon carbide and white aluminium oxide
- the sanding pattern is particularly glossy and fine
- the best results are achieved with the mounted point at a cutting speed of 20 to 25 m/s
- for safety reasons, the maximum permissible speed must not be exceeded
