Product Description
The ME extraction arm – with 3 joints – is suitable in its standard version for virtually all types of gaseous contaminants, e.g. in: laboratories, schools, hospitals, the pharmaceutical industry, and for light industrial applications. The PP version is used in particular for highly corrosive contaminants at high concentrations, such as in laboratories and the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The ATEX version is particularly suitable for removing gaseous contaminants in ATEX-classified environments, such as in laboratories, the chemical and petrochemical industries, gas distribution, and the paint and pharmaceutical industries. The MET extraction arm is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting.
Description
The FUMEX ME is designed to minimise pressure loss in the extraction system. This can help to reduce noise levels and facilitate the integration of additional extraction arms within the same ventilation system.
In the standard version, the joints are made of polypropylene (PP) and the tubes of thin-walled, anodised aluminium.
In the PP version, both the joints and the pipes are made of polypropylene (PP). All metal parts that come into contact with the air flow are made of stainless steel.
In the ATEX version, the joints and pipes are made of conductive polypropylene (PP). All metal parts that come into contact with the air flow are made of stainless steel. The metal bearing parts are treated with a special conductive coating. According to the manufacturer, the ATEX version complies with Directive 2014/34/EU, Category 2 for gases and dusts.
