- A Signal appears on Outlet A if a signal is applied on the inlet X or Y.
- If on both inlets a signal is applied only the one with the higher pressure gets to the Outlet A
- The OR-Element has no discharge and is a passive Element. Deletion of one or both inlet signals discharges the upstream signal elements
