- The oil-absorbent PIG® filter mat is suitable for use near gullies, pipes, drains, storage tanks, roll-off containers, vehicles and machinery where oil-containing liquids may be present.
- It can also be used as a flow-through filter for mop buckets and other containers containing oil-contaminated water.
- The filter mat is UV-resistant and designed for outdoor use.
- The material is designed to absorb oils whilst allowing water to flow through. The mat can be used, amongst other things, at external drains and for filtering rainwater containing oil.
- The filter mat is not intended for use on bodies of water, as it does not float.
- The oil-absorbent PIG® filter mat is made from a blend of polyester, nylon, polypropylene and Bico.
- The filter mat is designed to absorb hydraulic fluid, engine oil and other oil-based liquids from water. The filter material absorbs the oil-based liquids, whilst allowing water to flow through the mat.
