The NORMACONNECT® FLEX E pipe coupling can be used for connecting all types of pipe materials, e.g. steel, plastic, cast iron, etc. It is used, for example, for connections on waste water pipes, drinking water pipes, compressed air pipes, shipbuilding pipes or pipes for transporting solid, liquid and gaseous media.
Description
The NORMACONNECT® FLEX E pipe coupling is made of stainless steel W2 and has an EPDM tape insert. The NORMACONNECT® FLEX E guarantees sealing reliability even when it is installed on pipes with or without a gap or on pipes with length compensation. It also enables thermal expansion to be equalised on the pipes. The FLEX E works according to the two-lip sealing system and also has a locking block and a protective ring. The FLEX E pipe coupling can be installed quickly without welding and also offers a weight saving of 70% compared to flange connections.
