Product Description
- The FLEX E pipe coupling is ideal for connecting two pipes without welding or cutting threads.
- The special feature of this clutch is that it can compensate for linear expansion.
- The clutch is mainly used in industry and shipbuilding.
- The special feature of the FLEX E pipe coupling is its ability to compensate for changes in length of up to 15 mm, making it particularly suitable for systems with high tensile or compressive stress.
- An axle offset of up to 3 mm, an angulation of 2° per side and different outer pipe diameters of up to 5 mm are compensated for. The design of the pipe coupling means that there is no abrasion on the sealing sleeve.
- The FLEX E pipe coupling is designed for low-pressure applications.
- The axially restraint pipe coupling is suitable for the secure connection of metal and plastic pipes.
- The NBR version is extremely resistant to minerals such as oils, fuels or (flammable) gases and is resistant to temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +80 °C.
- Material - stainless steel W5 and NBR
- Dimensions d x h - 50 x 70 to 195 x 225 mm
- Supported pipe width - 26.9 to 168.3 mm
- Clamping range-Ø - 26.4 to 170.1 mm
- maximum working pressure - 32 to 70 bar
- maximum pipe spacing - 3 to 35 mm
- Length compensation - up to 15 mm
- Offset compensation - ≤1% of the pipe outer diameter (maximum 3 mm)
- Angle compensation - 2° per side
- Outer diameter compensation - ≤2% of the pipe outer diameter (maximum 5 mm)
Despite the flexibility of the coupling, the maximum pipe spacing must not be exceeded!
