- It is used when a swivelling hose connection in an angled configuration is required for high rotational speeds.

- The threaded elbow can be used with hoses made from nylon, soft nylon and PUR.
- The SMC KXL threaded angle connector is rotatable and designed for high-speed applications.
- Ball bearings ensure low torque, whilst a special X-ring-shaped seal minimises friction and ensures a reliable seal.
- The seal, made from fire- and impact-resistant fluorinated rubber, withstands the frictional heat generated during high-speed rotation and is designed for a long service life.
- A scraper prevents swarf from entering the bearings, whilst a pressure ring prevents the hose from twisting.
