- The SMC KQ2T T-shaped push-fit screw fitting is used to branch pneumatic hoses in both 90° directions whilst simultaneously establishing a connection between a push-fit and a threaded connection.
- It is used in automation technology, mechanical engineering and in pneumatic control and supply systems where different pipe runs need to be combined.
- Their use is particularly advantageous in modular system layouts and compact control units, where threaded and push-fit connections are combined to save space.
- Tool-free assembly enables quick installation as well as easy adjustments and maintenance work.
- The SMC KQ2T T-shaped push-fit screw fitting consists of precision-machined metal components made from brass, chemically nickel-plated brass or 303 stainless steel and features a POM pressure ring.
- It is fitted with an external thread and two hose inlets of equal size, both facing 90°.
- The connection thread is supplied without factory-applied thread sealant.
- The oval pressure ring significantly reduces the effort required to connect and disconnect the hoses and allows for quick, tool-free assembly.
- The compact design facilitates installation even in confined spaces.
- Thanks to precision manufacturing, permanently secure and leak-proof connections are guaranteed, even with frequent reconnection.
