- The SMC KKAP-F quick-release coupling is used in pneumatic systems where backflow of compressed air or water must be prevented when the connection is released, e.g. in machine modules, test benches or multi-line compressed air distribution systems.
- It is ideal for installations involving frequent connection changes whilst ensuring high process reliability.
- The quick-release coupling can also be used for water applications up to +40 °C (not frozen).
- The KKAP-F is particularly suitable for applications with increased safety requirements and is especially advantageous in decentralised supply systems or in mobile installations.
- The SMC KKAP-F quick-connect coupling is a compact, lockable connection with an integrated check valve function for one-way flow.
- It features an internal thread and, thanks to the integrated non-return valve, prevents the medium from flowing back when the connection is disconnected.
- The chemically nickel-plated brass housing, combined with an NBR seal, ensures a durable, corrosion-resistant and leak-proof connection.
- The straight design with tool-free plug-in assembly allows for easy integration into existing systems.
