Product Description
- The coating thickness gauge is used to measure non-metallic coatings on metal substrates.
- It is suitable for spot measurements of coating thickness, for example during quality control in paint shops and in the automotive industry.
- By inspecting material coatings, the condition of protective layers on metal components can be assessed.
- The coating thickness gauge operates on the principle of magnetic induction and the eddy current method.
- The small measuring head enables spot measurements of coating thickness. Among other things, it can measure non-magnetic coatings such as paint or zinc on steel, as well as insulating coatings such as paint or anodised layers on non-ferrous metals.
- The device automatically detects whether the substrate material is ferrous or non-ferrous.
- The internal memory can store up to 400 measurement readings.
- Single-point and two-point calibration are possible.
- Measurement data can be transferred via the USB interface and analysed using the software. The backlit display shows, amongst other things, minimum, maximum and average values.
- The manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 4 years.
