Product Description
  • This kit is suitable for determining the density of liquids and solids with a density of ≤/≥ 1 when used in conjunction with the Kern ALS/ALJ, ABS/ABJ, AES/AEJ, ABT and AET analytical balances.
  • The set is used in the fields of materials analysis, the analysis of porous materials and in pre-packaged goods inspection.
Description
  • The set comprises a weighing pan, beaker, platform, sample holder and sinker, balancing weights (3 pairs), adapters (3 pieces) and a immersion basket for sinking solids and for floating solids.
  • Also included is an Allen key and screws for mounting the balance.
  • Density is determined using the buoyancy method and is characterised by a high degree of accuracy.
  • The wire of the immersion basket complies with the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 1183-1 standard.
