Product Description
  • The Midi probe is ideal for locating drains, plastic pipes or manholes in which there are no metallic conductors.
  • It helps to identify the exact route of concealed pipes, particularly in sewer and wastewater technology and during civil engineering work.
  • In combination with the appropriate locating device, the probe supports safe planning and reduces the risk of damage during excavation work.
Application
  • The Midi probe is an active locating accessory that emits electromagnetic signals and thus enables reliable locating in non-metallic pipes such as plastic or sewage pipes.
  • It is inserted into the pipe system and generates a measurable signal that can be received by the locating system - e.g. the Leica DD120.
  • This also makes it possible to detect cable runs that would otherwise be impossible to locate without electrical conductivity.
