- The moisture analyser is suitable for determining the moisture content of solid and free-flowing samples by means of drying and weight difference. It can be used, amongst other things, in laboratories, in quality control, and in the agricultural sector. Typical applications include the determination of moisture content in powders, granules, cereals, oats and wheat.
- The moisture analyser enables the moisture content to be determined within a range of 0 to 100 per cent and has a weighing range of 0 to 110 g.
- The unit is operated via a 5-inch touchscreen with 11 selectable menu languages. The sample is spread out on the sample tray and dried using a halogen lamp with a diameter of 90 mm at an adjustable temperature ranging from 40 to 165 °C; the moisture content is then determined from the difference in weight before and after drying.
- The instrument offers an accuracy of ±0.003 g and a memory capacity for up to 32 drying cycles. Measurement values can be transferred to a PC via the RS-232 Modbus interface for further analysis; suitable software is available as an option. If required, the moisture analyser can also be supplied with an optional ISO calibration certificate.
