- The material thickness gauge is suitable for the non-destructive measurement of the thickness of homogeneous materials. It can be used, amongst other things, to test steel, aluminium, zinc, silver and gold. Typical applications include quality assurance, incoming goods inspection and the inspection of components, containers, pipes and other workpieces.
- The material thickness gauge allows material thicknesses of up to 225 mm to be measured.
- The sound velocity for different materials can be set on the device. For materials such as steel, aluminium, zinc, silver and gold, the relevant values are already stored in the device’s library.
- The limit value function allows you to define individual minimum and maximum values. If a measured value lies outside the specified range, a visual signal is triggered and, if required, an audible signal as well. This makes the device particularly suitable for routine inspection tasks and quality control.
- The measured values can be stored in the internal data memory and then analysed directly on the device.
- The measurement data can be displayed graphically, allowing individual measurement points to be specifically selected and read.
- The device also displays statistical values such as the average, minimum and maximum.
