- The Schock data logger is used for vibration monitoring and condition analysis of machines, motors, drives and production plant. For example, on milling machines, vibrations can be recorded during various machining operations in order to investigate unusual vibrations, imbalances or possible mechanical stresses.
- Another area of application is the monitoring of machinery, sensitive equipment and industrial goods during transport. In this context, the data logger records vibrations and impact loads during transport, loading or installation. The measurement data can be used to investigate potential transport damage and to document the transport conditions.
- In addition, the device enables the simultaneous monitoring of temperature, humidity, air pressure and light levels.
- The device measures acceleration in three axes, as well as temperature, relative humidity, air pressure and light intensity. This enables mechanical stresses and environmental conditions to be recorded over a defined period and subsequently analysed.
- The data logger is suitable for analysing the vibration behaviour of machinery and plant, as well as for recording impact loads during transport. The recorded acceleration values can be used to identify and analyse vibration peaks and changes in machine operation.
- The measured values are stored on an internal memory card and can be read out and analysed on a computer using the accompanying software. The battery-powered supply enables measurement data to be recorded for a limited period without the need for an external power source.
