Product Description
- Pressure boosters up to a maximum of 2,600 l/min
- The pressure booster increases the inlet pressure to the value set on the fitted control valve.
- The outlet pressure may be a maximum of 4 or 2 times the inlet pressure, but must not exceed 20 bar.
- The pressure booster is suitable, for example, for individual consumers, such as clamping cylinders, which are to be operated at a higher pressure than the available mains pressure.
- If, for example, the mains pressure is approx. 8 bar, the cylinder can be operated at a working pressure of approx. 16 bar.
- No electrical power required directly at the point of use
- There is no need to increase the pressure across the entire compressed air network for a single consumer
- Function: From the inlet side, the compressed air flows through two non-return valves into booster chambers A and B, and via the regulator and the control valve into drive chambers A and B.
- The pressure in booster chamber A and drive chamber B causes the double piston to move to the left. In the process, the compressed air in booster chamber B is compressed and directed via check valve 4 to the outlet at high pressure.
- Once piston B has reached its dead centre, it switches the control valve. This vents drive chamber B and fills drive chamber A.
- The process then runs in the opposite direction.
