Product Description
  • The ORM 1CO digital refractometer is ideally suited for measuring the dissolved solids (TDS) in coffee, e.g. to determine or compare the strength of a cup of coffee.
  • Roasters can use the TDS% value to determine the solubility level of a roast and control quality.
  • Optionally, Brix or the refractive index can also be displayed.
  • The main areas of application are the coffee industry, coffee roasters or coffee competitions.
Application
  • The digital handheld refractometers of the ORM series are precise, universal and maintenance-free, they are characterized by their easy handling and robustness.
  • With a large and clearly readable digital display and integrated temperature display as well as automatic temperature compensation (ATC), eliminating the need for manual temperature conversion.
  • Easy to use, calibration is possible using commercially available distilled water.
  • The refractometer is protected against dust and splash water according to the international protection class IP65.
  • After use, the refractometer can simply be rinsed under running water.
  • The power supply is via 1 AAA battery (1.5 V).
  • Optional factory calibration is available.
