Product Description
  • The ORM 1SU digital refractometer is ideally suited for measuring different types of sugar and determining the content of the respective type of sugar in water-based liquids.
  • It is possible to switch between four different scales.
  • The main areas of application are the food industry, for determining the degree of ripeness of fruit at harvest, in restaurants and commercial kitchens.
Application
  • The digital handheld refractometers of the ORM series are precise, universal and maintenance-free, they are characterized by their easy handling and robustness.
  • With a large and clearly readable digital display and integrated temperature display as well as automatic temperature compensation (ATC), eliminating the need for manual temperature conversion.
  • Easy to use, calibration is possible using commercially available distilled water.
  • The refractometer is protected against dust and splash water according to the international protection class IP65.
  • After use, the refractometer can simply be rinsed under running water.
  • Power is supplied by 1 AAA battery (1.5 V).
  • Optional factory calibration is available.
