- The SMC AKB check valve is used to prevent backflow in compressed air systems, particularly in applications involving tanks or storage modules.
- It is suitable for maintaining a vacuum for short periods and for protection against sudden pressure drops.
- Thanks to its compact design, it is ideal for installation in confined spaces or mobile systems.
- The version with external thread/internal thread is suitable for environments with splash water, e.g. in cooling systems.
- It can be used with nylon, soft nylon or polyurethane hoses.
- The SMC AKB check valve consists of a nickel-plated brass body with an integrated valve made of NBR and aluminium alloy.
- A stainless steel spring ensures precise check valve function at a very low response pressure of 0.005 MPa.
- The valve body has a compact design and, thanks to large equivalent cross-sections ranging from 6.5 to 34 mm², allows for a high flow rate.
- The NBR O-ring ensures a reliable seal in a wide range of applications.
- The AKB check valve is also fitted with an internal and external thread, as well as Teflon tape.
