Product Description
- The SMC IZS40 ioniser is used in automated production lines to neutralise electrostatic charges.
- It is suitable for plastic and rubber workpieces, as well as for applications requiring protection against electrostatic discharge.
- The ioniser supports processes in electronics manufacturing, particularly in the production of printed circuit boards, as well as in the processing of glass substrates.
- Typical applications include production and handling processes in which static electricity can compromise product quality or process reliability.
- The SMC IZS40 ioniser in its standard version is a rod-type ioniser designed to dissipate static electricity.
- It operates using corona discharge and supports simple ON/OFF operation by simply switching it on and off.
- The IZS40 ioniser features integrated mounting brackets and an e-con plug connection.
- Low-maintenance electrode needles and various types of emitter cartridges allow for customisation to suit the application.
