Product Description
- The Series 481 pressure reducer offers reliable protection for domestic, commercial and industrial water supply systems against excessive supply pressure.
- Pressure reducing valves are used when a certain pressure must not be exceeded on the outlet side of the pipework despite different pressures on the inlet side.
- These pressure reducers are ideal for use in drinking water supplies in accordance with DIN 1988, in industrial and building services water supplies, in snowmaking systems, in fire extinguishing technology and sprinkler systems, in shipbuilding and offshore installations, as well as in secondary areas of the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
- These robust, all-metal pressure reducers with screw connections have proven their worth particularly under harsh operating conditions in the industrial sector for a wide range of media, including aggressive media, and in fluctuating ambient temperatures.
- The materials of the 481 series pressure reducer are optimised for a wide range of water qualities and hot water applications.
- Thanks to the additional outlet pressure ranges of 0.5 to 2 bar and 5 to 15 bar, in addition to the standard setting range of 1 to 8 bar, the pressure reducer serves a wide range of applications.
- These pressure reducers are also available with an internal thread as an option.
