- It is secured around suitable supporting structures, steel beams, tubular structures or other load-bearing anchor points and forms a secure connection between the anchor point and the personal fall protection system.
- The 3M™ PROTECTA® edge-tested webbing sling is a portable and reusable lanyard for professional use in fall protection.
- This high-quality, flat-woven polyester webbing has been specially developed for demanding applications and is characterised by its high resistance to sharp edges.
- The webbing sling has been tested on an edge with a radius of 0.5 mm and therefore offers additional safety when working on steel structures, beams and other components where there is an increased risk of catching on edges.
- The high-visibility grey-black colour scheme improves visibility in the workplace.
- The lanyard complies with the requirements of EN 795:2012 Type B and is suitable as a mobile anchor system for up to three people with a maximum total load of 300 kg.
