Product Description
  • This body emergency shower is used wherever employees need to be decontaminated quickly when working with hazardous substances or hot media.
  • The product is ideal for use in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, laboratories, electroplating/surface technology, industrial production involving acids/alkalis, battery rooms, workshops and maintenance, logistics areas involving the handling of hazardous substances, and in systems with circulation pipes (hot water/hygiene requirements).
Description
  • The body emergency shower is designed for wall mounting and has a stainless steel wall flange with four mounting holes. The surface is coated with a chemical-resistant green powder coating. The water connection is made via a 3/4" internal thread. A 75 mm long connecting pipe (3/4") made of stainless steel, also with a chemical-resistant green powder coating, connects the components. The integrated ball valve made of dezincification-resistant brass is DIN-DVGW tested and approved. It is activated by a pull rod with a deflection angle and wall bracket (length 510 mm). It can be installed either to the right or left of a door.
  • The pull bar with ring handle (700 mm) is made of stainless steel and has a chemical-resistant green powder coating. A powder-coated steel guide holder ensures safe guidance.
  • The stainless steel wall-mounted shower arm (3/4") is also powder-coated in green and has a projection of 655 mm. An integrated automatic flow regulator ensures a standard-compliant spray pattern at a flow pressure of 1.5 to 3 bar and delivers 50 litres per minute.
  • The high-performance shower head made of chemical-resistant plastic is black, corrosion-resistant, largely limescale-free and maintenance-free, robust and self-draining.
  • The scope of delivery includes an information sign in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7010 and ASR A1.3 (self-adhesive PVC film, 150 x 150 mm, visibility distance 15 m).
  • The recommended installation height is 2345 mm (± 100 mm).
  • The design complies with BGI/GUV-I 850-0, DIN 1988, DIN EN 1717, ANSI Z358.1-2014, DIN EN 15154-1:2006 and DIN EN 15154-5:2019 and is DIN-DVGW tested and approved.
