Product Description
- The GRAVITY-S Y-lanyard is ideal for work involving a risk of falls from a height, where frequent repositioning or reattachment to different anchor points is required.
- The Y-configuration enables continuous safe working, as one strand of the lanyard can always remain connected to the anchor point when switching between anchor points.
- The lanyard consists of a 45 mm wide elastic polyester webbing, which has been specially designed for use on sharp edges.
- Thanks to its elastic design, the length is reduced to approx. 1.40 m when unloaded and extends to up to 2.0 m under load, thereby minimising annoying slack in the rope and improving the user’s freedom of movement.
- The integrated webbing fall arrestor reduces the forces generated in the event of a fall to less than 6 kN, thereby increasing the user’s safety.
- To protect against wear and tear, the lanyard loops are reinforced with an abrasion-resistant tubular fabric to ensure a long service life even under demanding operating conditions.
- To ensure a secure connection, the system features two aluminium scaffolding hooks with a large 60 mm opening, an integrated swivel and a fall indicator, as well as an aluminium carabiner with an automatic lock (twist-lock) and a 22 mm opening.
- In addition, the lanyard is fitted with a fall indicator label; if the ‘NOT OK’ field becomes visible following a fall, the lanyard must not be used any further and must be replaced.
- The lanyard is approved for users weighing up to 140 kg and complies with the requirements of EN 355:2002 and PPE-R 11.063.
