Product Description
- The FID II insulation anchor is ideal for fastening lightweight attachments such as exterior lighting, house numbers, motion detectors or doorbells to external thermal insulation composite systems. The insulation anchor is suitable for universal use in all common ETICS structures.
- The FID II insulation plug can be screwed in with pinpoint accuracy thanks to the combined centering, milling and cutting function of the plug tip. The combination of the small head diameter with the under-head milling pockets of the plug enables a perfectly concealed and flush setting pattern. Thanks to the minimal head diameter, the edge of the plug is not visible even with narrow attachments. The special tip geometry enables fast installation, as the plug screws through plaster thicknesses of up to 10 mm without pre-drilling. Pre-drilling is recommended for plaster layers over 10 mm thick.
- The FID II has a TX40 drive, making it easy to set with a standard TX 40 bit. The FID II can be used flexibly with standard screws with a diameter of 3.5 to 4.5 mm. The plug is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, which ensures maximum stability.
