Product Description
- The fischer insulation dowel FID 50 is a dowel for fixing lightweight attachments in plastered and unplastered insulation boards made of polystyrene and polyurethane, for example in façade construction, insulation construction, electrical construction, cooling and air-conditioning construction and acoustic construction.
- It is suitable for the following building materials such as unrendered compression-resistant insulation boards, rendered compression-resistant insulation boards and ETICS insulation boards.
- For this purpose, the fischer FID is set by hand or with a cordless screwdriver. Attachment parts are fastened with a 4.5 mm screw for the FID 50 and with a 6 mm screw for the FID 90.
- To avoid water ingress into the insulation, the edge of the door should be sealed after pre-insertion.
- Pre-drilling (6 mm) is recommended for plastered facades
