Product Description
- The product is used in sandblasting, compressed air spray painting, shotcrete spraying and in general construction and road construction applications with compressed air tools.
- The mobile DBP compressed air aftercooler separates condensate and oil from the air stream for sandblasting. Oil and condensate cause the sandblasting agent to stick in sandblasting equipment and can block the metering valves, hoses and nozzles.blockage of the metering valves, hoses and nozzles. Clean and dry compressed air prevents the blasting agent from sticking, increases performance and reduces maintenance costs.
- The device is used to remove up to 95% of the condensate and oil that is usually contained in compressed air.
- It is suitable for use with stationary and mobile screw compressors of all brands.
- The compressed air from a diesel engine compressor has a temperature of approx. 90°C. At this temperature, it contains a large amount of moisture in the form of water vapour. Without a cyclone separator and aftercooler, compressed air from a compressor with a capacity of 5.7 m3/min and a pressure of 7 bar can enter the system with up to 21.5 litres of water per hour. The DBP/DBE compressed air aftercooler reduces the compressed air to a temperature of 3 °C to 10 °C above the ambient temperature. Once the air has cooled, the water vapour condenses and up to 95% of the condensed moisture is separated from the system.
